Jeremiah Shane Giles

I am a lifelong resident of Summerdale, Alabama, and my law firm is located on a section of land that my family has owned for generations. My family is and always has been very involved in our local community. My uncle, David Wilson, has served as Mayor for the Town of Summerdale since 1992. My mother, Norma Wilson Giles, is currently on the Summerdale Town Council, and my dad, Oliver "Buddy" Giles, served on the Summerdale Town Council for several terms. I have been married to the love of my life, Rachel Giles, since July of 2010.

As a child, I attended Summerdale Elementary and Middle Schools, then graduated from Robertsdale High School in 1997. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Alabama in 2002. In 2006, I earned my Juris Doctorate (Law Degree) from Saint Louis University, which is located in Saint Louis, Missouri.

After graduating from law school, I worked for approximately 5 years as an Assistant District Attorney for Baldwin County, and also Blount County, Alabama. During those 5 years I tried approximately 30 jury trials and countless bench trials and preliminary hearings. I also prosecuted all types of cases, ranging from Traffic Court, to Drug Court, to Circuit Court, and including being responsible for numerous dockets of Baldwin County's Grand Jury and Status Docket.

After obtaining 5 years of invaluable experience, I opened my Law Firm in my hometown of Summerdale in May of 2011. Since that time, I have represented clients in a wide variety of legal issues, and in a wide variety of Courts across southern Alabama.

I am a Christian and I consider my law firm to be a Christian law firm. I strive to put God first and can talk to you all day about all the blessings that God has given me in my life. I will not force my beliefs off on you, but at the same time, if you want to know more about them, or want a lawyer who will take the time to pray with you and for you, then perhaps you have come to the right place.
